Product Life Cycle

The following graphic shows the current situation of the most important products of WAVECOM ELEKTRONIK AG. For current products it is planned to deliver software updates for another one to two years after the last hardware production. Repair service should be available for another two years.

Out-of-warranty repair

Under the condition that the equipment was handled with care (no corrosion, no mechanical damages, no customer modifications, etc) WAVECOM offers the following services:
  • Small and trivial repairs: CHF 300 (includes up to two hours work).
  • More complex repairs: The most critical parts like DSP, RAM, AD converter, power regulators etc. will get replaced. The factory overhaul process is a thorough process which brings the unit up to the same specifications as when it was new. Costs on request.
